We are experiencing an increadable Indian Summer here in Eastern Idaho. There is snow in the hills, but the low elevation rock is still sunny and warm. A knee injury is keeping me from exploring the higher peaks for early season ice and mixed climbs. Rock climbing seems to not bother the knee as long as i don't put a ton of miles on it. So for now i'll let it heal up and spend some sunny warm days hanging around the local crags. Better to miss out on a month than to be plauged for years with a knee injury.
Heather and I have been exploring some new terrain about fifteen minutes from our house. It's short and not really worth writing home about, but we're having fun on the short stout jamming routes this place offers. Plus it's in the sun!
